INTERVIEW :

Can you present yourself in a few words?
My name is Sjoerd Piepenbrink, born in 1981, I live near Amsterdam. I work for over a decade in the field of creative photo
editing  at www.souverein.nl Beside that I love to work on Yetiland, my personal illustration/art project since 2012.

What is your artistic background?
I was lego crazy in kindergarten, went to 2 different art academies, and my dayjob at Souverein makes sure I am
submerged in imagery all day :)

Can you describe your artistic style?
Digital papercutting

What are your inspirations, references?
I really like the work of Charley Harper, Fiep Westendorp, Parra, Steve Simpson, Piet Paris, Dick Bruna, Katsushika Hokusai,
Ali Gulec,  Robert Farkas and countless others.

Do you have some future projects?
Maybe one day, I will be a respectable grown up person :)
